Seven countries invest in Karnataka France Germany Japan Italy United Kingdom Sweden and Korea

Seven countries – France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Korea – have partnered with Karnataka to promote investments in various sectors, including aviation, during the upcoming global investors meet, Invest Karnataka-2016,to be held in Bengaluru between February 3 and 5.The meet to be held in Palace Grounds will be inaugurated by UnionFinance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Indian hockey skipper Sardar Singh’s fiancée accuses him of sexual harassment

New Delhi:A British hockey player of Indian origin has accused hockey skipper Sardar Singh of sexually harassing her. The lady, according to police, has been identified as 21-year-old Ashpal Bhogal, who has roots in Sirsa (Haryana). She is also the fiancee of Singh and has filed a complaint with Ludhiana police alleging false promise of marriage made by the player.Bhogal, in her complaint, alleged that Sardar got her pregnant and the India captain abandoned her after this. "He told me to abort the child, which I did against my wish. He stopped talking to me after that incident and has refused to marry me.
