Mohammed is the most popular name in capital of India

The name Mohammed (PBUH) is the most popular among adults in Delhi, shows analysis of voter list data.

The analysis shows that over 2.5 lakh men named Mohammed. 

The name Ram is the secondpopular name with over 1.5 lakh men choosing the name, while name Sunita is popular among women.

Sunita is popular among women of age between 30 and 35, while Pooja is popular among youngsters.

According to Hindu news, this analysis of names is based on data on first names and ages extracted by SocialCops, a data analytics start-up, from Delhi’s electoral rolls.
